The netizens expressed their disappointment after the road along Southville 3 Muntinlupa has been closed due to unknown reason.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the photos of a road being closed at Southville 3 Muntinlupa. The post garnered various reactions from the social media users.
In the photos, it can be seen that some officials together with workers are setting hollow blocks, which will serve as a barricade along the road. The road has been closed from other vehicles that will pass along the area.
The original uploader Berlin De Villa Nieva expressed her disappointment to the move of the officials. She said that a lot of tricycle drivers are using the road everyday to earn money and sustain their everyday needs.
Nieva is also calling the attention of higher officials to take a look on the matter. Many people are now struggling with their finances due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Makatarungan ba yung ginawa niyo samin hinarangan niyo daanan,pano na yung mga tricycle driver na may pamilya halos araw araw yun lang buhay nila kalsada yung mga naghahanap buhay ng marangal masyado niyong inabala dapat makarating to sa pinakamataas hirap na nga buhay mas lalo niyo pa kaming nilulubog.
