Jeepney Driver Expresses Disappointment After Enforcer Caught His Irresponsible Passenger Violating Health Protocols
A jeepney driver has expressed his disappointment after a traffic enforcer apprehended him due to irresponsible passenger.
A Facebook user named Micah Paula Felices has shared the photo of a poor jeepney driver who had been apprehended by an enforcer because of his passenger who violated the health protocols. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Felices said that a traffic enforcer apprehended the jeepney driver and gave him a violation ticket after his passenger violated the safety protocols inside the public utility vehicle. The law requires passengers to wear face mask and face shield in public areas or vehicles.
The driver expressed his sentiments on how he could pay the P3, 000 penalty fee since he is even struggling to earn P300 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Micah also urged the Filipino people to follow and obey the health protocols being implemented by the Philippines government for the good of everyone. She also encourage everyone to be more responsible with their actions.
Eventually, the driver receives cash from kind-hearted netizen and paid the penalty fee and used to extra money to buy their basic needs.
