In her recent post on the photo-sharing social media platform, G shared that she got vaccinated. She showcased her COVID-19 vaccination record card after she received her first shot.

“Exactly a year today that the World Health Organization announced that we are in a pandemic. I got my Pfizer shot and the process took literally 17 minutes [15 of which were waiting after the shot],” the mother of 2 wrote.

She also encouraged the public to get vaccinated. “Please get vaccinated when it’s your turn. #covidvaccine,” G Tongi said.

Her post received a comment from a netizen who was probably wondering why at this early, the actress already received her first shot.

You are part of the priority group?” the netizen asked. Based on the article in GMA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made a recommendation on December 22, 2020 frontline essential workers will be prioritized in the vaccination.

To answer the question of the netizen, G Tongi said, “I fall under the food and agriculture industry, yes.” According to the recommendation, those who are under the food and agriculture industry is part of the frontline essential workers category.
