Young Mom Fears of Getting Blind After Suffering Eye Injury
TARLAC – A young mom suffered an eye injury and might get blind after her toddler kid accidentally hurt her right eye.
A 22-year-old woman identified as Kim De Rama suffered an eye injury in her right eye after it was accidentally hurt by her three-year-old child. She is also experiencing distorted vision due to the incident.
“Pag gising ko masakit saka mahirap imulat. Tapos parang natatakpan yung pinaka-black ng mata, natatakpan ng parang laman,” Kim said.
De Rama needs to undergo in angiogram procedure to prevent her from being blind after she suffered an abnormal connection within the veins of her eye. An ophthalmologist said that eyes are very sensitive.
“Blunt ‘yan eh. Para ka na ring sinuntok lalo na kung hindi nakontrol ng bata yung siko niya. Maraming patutunguhan ‘yan, puwedeng magkaroon siya ng pagdurugo,” ophthalmologist Dr. Monique Posadas said.

Posadas said that Kim needs to undergo an eye surgery to prevent blindness. De Rama is now seeking help from the kind hearted individuals to support her financial necessities for the surgery.
