This is how Kim Chiu reacted to banter about Gerald Anderson
Chinita Princess Kim Chiu had this reaction when Vice Ganda and It’s Showtime guests joked about Gerald Anderson after his recent interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda.
In the said interview, Gerald confirmed his relationship with Julia Barretto and addressed the “ghosting” issue with Bea Alonzo. Just recently, the Showtime hosts talked about the viral interview, based on the article in PEP.
Vice, as he is known for his funny blows, said to Jerald Napoles, one of the judges in the segment ‘Versus’: “Hoy, Jerald, napanood ko yung interview mo kay Tito Boy, ah. Pasabog ka.”
Jerald was riding along as he answered, “Twenty minutes din yun, ‘no.” The interview had a running time of 20 minutes and 8 seconds.
After Vice Ganda introduced Kim Chiu as one of the judges also in the said segment, he asked her, “Happy naman kayo ni Jerald diyan?”
The Chinita Princess quickly responded, “Ayokong sumali diyan.” Then Vice clarified that he was referring to Jerald. Kim answered the she, Jerald, and Roxanne Guinoo, their fellow judge, were happy.
When the camera focused on Kim, she was seen flashing a “frowning” face for Vice’s “pang-aasar”.
Roxanne also joined the banter as she said, “Kimerald pala ‘to, Kimerald.” Kimerald was the name of Kim’s love team with Gerald. Obviously, Kim was trying to divert the conversation to the segment and the contestants.
Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson joined the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition in 2006. From that, they became love team partners and a real-life couple. Based on the article, it was in 2010 when Gerald announced their breakup.
