Actor Gerald Anderson recently confirmed his relationship with his Between Maybes leading lady Julia Barretto and this received a reaction from veteran showbiz personality Lolit Solis.
The issue that involved Gerald and Julia, as well as the actor’s ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo resurfaced. It is because of the recent interview in which the actor finally revealed the real score between him and his rumored girlfriend.
For the longest time since 2019, rumors linking Gerald and Julia became trending topics. Once again, their names became hot topics on social media.
The relationship confirmation that Gerald Anderson did garnered various reactions. Although there were those who are defending him and Julia Barretto, a massive amount of bashing is still being thrown at them.
In line with this, entertainment columnist Lolit Solis shared this write-up about the actor’s confirmation.
“Bigla na naman umingay iyon Gerald Anderson/ Julia Barretto ay Bea Alonzo issue Salve. Medyo tumahimik na, hindi na pinag usapan, at nakatuon na nga sa kung magkakaruon ng bagong love si Bea Alonzo ng bigla, ginulat sila ng magsalita si Gerald Anderson,” Manay Lolit said.
She added that it seemed that the confirmation has worsen the situation. The veteran showbiz personality also said that many people are still believing that there was an overlapping that happened and the blame is on Gerald and Julia.
With this, she said that appeared that it is better that the actor has remained silent. “Hindi na nag explain, wala ng sinabi, basta hinayaan na lang makita na sila na ngang dalawa ni Julia, wala lang,” the columnist said.
For Lolit Solis, the issue became popular again after Gerald spoke about it just recently. She added that the issue of ghosting will be always associated with his name because of what happened.
