Kim Chiu is the new face of H&M

Chinita Princess Kim Chiu shared how she overcame her insecurities when it comes to her body as she was launched as the new face of international clothing brand H&M.

Previously, two artists from ABS-CBN also became the endorsers of the said brand for its summer essentials. Nadine Lustre and Maja Salvador also became the faces of H&M.

Just recently, Kim shared the latest update on her showbiz career. “THIS IS IT! I still can’t believe it! Everything now is so surreal!! Shot this weeks ago, and here it is,” the Chinita Princess wrote in the caption of her Instagram account with the video clip from her shoot.

She added that she is happy and excited about the partnership she has with the clothing brand that is out of love for fashion and the aim to empower her fellow Pinays.

Based on the article in PUSH, Kim Chiu admitted that she was apprehensive at first in accepting this project. It is because it is something that is out of her comfort zone.

“I have always been insecure about my body since lagi akong tinutukso na payatot nung bata ako,” she revealed. However, she has learned to overcome that insecurity.

“Thankfully, as I grew older, I’ve slowly come to accept and love my body. And who else to better collaborate with, on this milestone of mine on self-love and body positivity than H&M,” she said.

Based on the article, the shoot for Kim Chiu’s H&M Tropical Essentials Collection happened on the island of Zambales.
