PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day March 8, 2021 (Monday).

The 4 AM daily forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will be affecting Extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country on this day.

According to the bureau’s official website, the northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to easterlies and/or localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the website, for the wind and coastal water condition,  Northern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are facing in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters with waves reaching from 1.2 to 2.8 meters.

The rest of the country, on the other hand, will face light to moderate winds that are also moving in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters with waves reaching from 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
