During the dinner, Ibarra saw the friars Sibyla and Damaso. Sibyla enjoyed it while Damaso looked nervous.
Everyone was happy and enjoyed the dinner. Tiago’s guests complimented the delicious food that will be prepared. The Lieutenant also joined the dinner and was irritated by Doña Victoria’s constant checking of her hair.
Ibarra sat at the head of the table. At the other end of the table, the two priests were bickering as to who will sit beside the young man. When the food was prepared, everyone started dining. Ibarra then tells everyone where he will be.
