TONI GONZAGA – One of the respected hosts, Toni Gonzaga, meets and interviews one of the respected women in the industry, Charo Santos.
Among the accomplished and highly-respected women in the show business industry is Charo Santos-Concio. Although famous and prominent, people know so little about her life as she was able to keep private the things that are supposed to be private.
But in a sit-down interview with Toni Gonzaga for Toni Talks on her YouTube channel, she shared a random experience she has when she was younger. In the interview, Toni based her questions on the book of Charo, and her experience with foreign guys came in.
Accordingly, out of the country for work, her manager then needed to go back to the country to attend to some important matters. With the rare chance to stay in a foreign land, she opted to be left alone. However, she just spent her entire time inside her room and didn’t bother to go out and stroll.
And when she decided to go down on the third day in the restaurant of the hotel where she was staying, there were accordingly two French guys already eyeing her. She was just around 20 to 21 years old and these two guys came up to her. She interrupted her while busy looking for a magazine to read and offered her to have a trip with them to Paris.
She narrated, “I was holding the magazine, nanginginig talaga ako! Hindi ko namamalayan I was already like folding the magazine and then I said, ‘I’m sorry but my husband is waiting for me.'”
And right after that experience of turning down the suspicious offer, it went down to her that she could actually be strong alone, and independent. It was her survival instinct that gone through her to do it. She just listened to her values and instinct then when she was put in a test. She added, “The two guys? They just laughed at me. They got so amused.”
