A Pinoy nursing assistant is among the first beneficiaries of Sinovac vaccine at the Lung Center Philippines.

Since last year, the coronavirus disease continues to spread in various countries all around the world including the Philippines. The virus affects millions of people worldwide and even causes an impact to the global economy.

The health experts attempted to develop a vaccine against the disease for several times. Many people believe that successful vaccine shots could normalize the community quarantine measures in the country.

Recently, the 24-year-old nursing assistant identified as Jovie Edradan becomes one of the first beneficiaries of the coronavirus vaccine shot. He signed up for the Sinovac rollout to take advantage of the first available shots in the country.

Edradan also revealed that Pfizer vaccine was his first option but eventually decided to sign up for Sinovac. He has been attending patients infected with the coronavirus disease at the LCP ward.

“Excited din ako kasi kung tutuusin, maswerte pa rin kami na maging beneficiary nitong vaccine,” Edradan said.

The health worker has also expressed his gratefulness to be one of the recipients of the COVID-19 vaccine shots.
