Facebook Page Posts Photos of Male Suspect Using Convincing Modus to Deceive Victims
The photos of a male suspect using a convincing modus operandi to deceive his poor and helpless victims elicit comments online.
The Facebook page “JAM Collections” raised public awareness regarding a male suspect who is using a convincing modus operandi to deceive his helpless victims. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The suspect who introduced himself as Kuya “Dody” reportedly stole a Real Me 6i phone and cash worth of P2, 150. The culprit initially purchased items from the shop and offered jewelries to the victims.
Kuya Dody would allow the victim to verify the jewelry’s authenticity at the pawnshop. After the verification, the culprit would borrow a phone from the victim to have a confidential conversation with someone regarding the transaction.
The man also leave the jewelry to the victim before running away with the phone. The victim brought the jewelry to the pawnshop and discovered that it has been replaced with a fake one.

“Baka po may nakakakilala dito, nagpakilala bilang Kuya “Dody” nangbudol at nakakuha ng pera na may halagang P2150 at Real Me 6i phone.
Ang sistema ay bibili ng item sa tindahan, chi-chika chika, mag-ooffer ng alahas. Hahayaan kang ipacheck sa pawnshop para ma-verify at masabi ang amount, sa case ng staff namin, ng ipa-check nila ito ang sabi ng pawnshop ay nagkakahalaga ito ng P8500.
Ibebenta sa mas mababang halaga at paiikot-ikutin ka, ke-kwentuhin, bandang huli manghihiram ng phone para makitawag. Ilalabas saglit ang phone dahil confidential daw yung paguusapan, iiwan ang alahas sandali para masabing babalik talaga siya.
Pero hindi na ulit bumalik tangay ang pera at cellphone,nang ipacheck ulit sa pawnshop ang mga naiwang alahas, ibang mga alahas nadaw ito at mga peke.
