Man Arrested in EDSA for Leaving Suspicious Bag in People Power Monument

Authorities chase and arrested a man who allegedly leave a suspicious bag in People Power Monument amid the commemoration of the EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary.

In a report of ABS-CBN News, a man was chased and arrested in EDSA after he allegedly leave a bag that make authorities suspect it was threat amid the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

The man allegedly left the bag in the People Power Monument, based on the report. When the authorities check the suspicious bag left by the arrested man, they only found corns and vegetables.

Authorities are now on intense security against “constant threat” as the Philippines commemorated the 35th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution and rebels may attack anytime.

Today is the 35th anniversary of the 1986 Edsa People Power Revolution when thousands of Filipinos rallied in peace on EDSA to call for the end of the regime of dictator Ferdinand Marcos and to restore democracy.

Politicians and other personalities urged Filipinos to unite and must work together to fight # COVID19 like the unity shown in the 1986 EDSA Revolution. It was basically unity of the Filipino people towards a common goal and now the enemy is the virus people need to unite.
