Chinese National Illegally Detained in Biñan, Laguna Rescued by Police
Authorities rescued the Chinese national allegedly detained in an illegal detention Biñan, Laguna with the help of a concerned city of the area.
According to P / Col. Serafin Fortuno Petetalio II, chief of Laguna PPO, the local Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) saved the unnamed victim from Las Villas de Manila Subdivision in Brgy. San Francisco, in that town around 11:30 pm.

Based on the report received by the Biñan City police station from a concerned citizen, a Chinese national was allegedly illegally detained within the subdivision. After verifying the information, P / Lt. Col. Giovani Martinez, Biñan police chief, the SWAT team to rescue the victim.
The rescue team found the victim with both hands tied inside a house in the subdivision. Meanwhile, authorities immediately arrested the suspect, identified as Zhang Chen, 25.
According to the victim, the suspect has been detaining him for three days and his hands have been tied for three days. The police report did not mention the possible motive behind the illegal detention of the victim.
The victim allegedly managed to contact his friends using his cellphone to inform the authorities of his condition. The suspect is currently in the custody of the Biñan police while the incident is being investigated.
