Man Arrested After He Harassed a Woman Who Considered Him as a Friend at Reunion
A woman was harassed by a man she considered as a friend at their friendship’s reunion but the suspect denied allegation after being arrested.
In a report of GMA News, one woman did not think that attending the reunion of friends she considered her second family would lead to her harassment. The authorities arrested the suspect, John Jerald Artaña, by virtue of the arrest warrant issued by the court.
The suspect admitted that he has developed feelings for the victim for a long time. The victim was said to be a young man who accompanied the suspect to their reunion with a meal and a drink.

The harassment of the victim allegedly took place after the party. Artaña admitted that something happened to them with the victim previously but he said they both wanted it.
He added that he had always liked the victim and that Carol was the first to kiss him. The suspect said he went to the comfort room to vomit due to intoxication but the Carol followed him.
“Lilipat po sana ako sa cr para sumuka nasa likod ko pa siya noon. Then tinanong niya po ako, ‘Anong ginagawa mo diyan?’ Nung time na ‘yon hinarang niya ‘ko then doon niya ‘ko hinalikan,” the suspect said.
But the victim strongly denied the suspect’s story. The court is also arresting another person who came to the reunion who was allegedly Artaña’s friend and allegedly took advantage of the victim. The suspect is now detained at the Antipolo Police station.
