PAGASA – Auring Turns North-Northwestward, Head Towards Eastern Samar

PAGASA – PAGASA recently said that tropical depression Auring has turned north-northwestward and is now heading towards Eastern Samar.

The 8 AM Severe Weather Bulletin from the state weather bureau says that Auring may likely make landfall over Eastern Samar in the next 6 to 12 hours as a tropical depression.

As of 7 AM, it was last spotted at about 205 km East Northeast of Maasin City, Southern Leyte or 85 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

It is still packed with packed with maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour and gustiness of up to 55 kilometers per hour. The weather disturbance is now moving North Northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour.
