Leni Robredo Remembers Late Husband Jesse Robredo W/ Throwback Photo
LENI ROBREDO – Vice President Leni Robredo shared a throwback photo of her with late husband Jesse Robredo on Valentine’s Day.
Every February 14, people of all ages celebrate Valentine’s Day. This day is known for giving gifts and dinner dates but the origin of this day is far less romantic.
In a previous article, we featured the gruesome origin of Valentine’s day. In the “modern” celebration of this day, people make romantic gestures for their significant other.
On Valentines Day, Vice president Leni Robredo recalled her happy moments with her husband, the late former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo. In an FB post on Sunday, the politician posted an old photo of her being hugged tightly by her husband in one of their trips.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Feels both like yesterday and a lifetime ago.”

Jesse Robredo died in a plane crash in August 2012. He left behind his wife and their 3 daughters Aika, Tricia, and Jilian. This is her 9th Valentine’s Day without Jesse.
