Carnapping Suspect Arrested in Eastern Visayas Over Several Charges
The police authorities arrest a carnapping suspect who is also in involved in murder cases in Eastern Visayas.
The Philippine National Police chief Police General Debold Sinas said that National Capital Region Police Office chief Police Major General Vicente Danao Jr 32-year-old identified the suspect as Rowegie Anlio alias Egie.
Sinas said that the Regional Special Operations Group-Regional Intelligence Division operative together with NDIT, Regional Intelligence Unit-NCR, Regional Intelligence Division-PRO8, Regional Highway Patrol Unit-8, and NCRPO arrest the suspect.
Rowegie Anlio is one of the personalities who has been included on the most wanted list. The PNP chief lauded the operative for the successful operation and arresting the suspect who is hiding for seven years.
In 2014, Tacloban City’s Regional Trial Court Branch 44 Judge Eligio Petilla released the arrest warrant against the carnapping suspect with no bail.
Anlio has been nabbed on Friday (February 12, 2021) over carnapping and murder cases.
