Police Arrested a Retired Philippine Marine in Makati City for Illegal Drugs
A retired member of Philippine Marine arrested by authorities in Makati City of possessing an illegal drugs called “shabu” or crystal meth.
A retired member of the Philippine Marines was arrested in a buy-bust operation by Makati Police operatives. Police confiscated more than P1-million worth of suspected shabu in Barangay West Rembo, Makati City.
Makati City Police chief, P / Colonel Harold Depositar, identified the suspect as Rufino Advincula, Jr., alias Yubert, 53, of 123 Block 5 Avocado St., Brgy. West Rembo, Makati City.

According to the report, the suspect bit into the bait made by the anti-narcotics operatives. About P50,000 worth of shabu was pretended to be bought by the poseur-buyer around 6:15 pm on Tuesday.
The operatives seized a total of 200 grams of suspected shabu, with a street value of P1,360,000, and also recovered the buy-bust money of boodle money and mixed 2 genuine P1,000 bills.
The detained suspect is facing a violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Police revealed that the suspect was previously caught with illegal drugs.
