Ex-Pangasinan Governor Espino Ambush 3 Suspects Arrested in Batangas
The three (3) suspects who were involved in an ambush attempt to former Pangasinan governor Amando Espino Jr. in 2019 arrested in Batangas.
In a report of GMA News, the three suspects who were involved in the ambush of former Pangasinan governor, where one of his security escorts died in 2019, were arrested in San Juan, Batangas.
Afternoon in September 2019 when Espino and his comrades were ambushed in Barangay Magtaking in San Carlos City, Pangasinan. Espino was injured but survived while his security escort died instantly.

The detainees were identified as Albert Palisoc, Armando Friaz Jr., and Benjie Resultan, all residents of Urbiztondo, Pangasinan. Authorities carried out the raid on the house where the three were hiding in Batangas under an arrest warrant.
Based on the report, the authorities seized some firearms, ammunition and fake IDs from the suspects. The three detained at the Basista police station are also believed to be members of a criminal group.
GMA News was not allowed to talk to the suspects at first, while still trying to get a statement from their relatives. Authorities, on the other hand, have promised to continue their investigation to bring justice to the victims.
