Authorities Confiscate Modified Motorcycles After Inspecting Roads and Motor Shops in General Santos City
The authorities have conduct an inspection along the road and motor shops in General Santos City and confiscate modified motorcycles.
Nowadays, vehicle modification has become a trend not only in the Philippines but also in various countries all around the world. Most people are modifying their motorcycles to improve the looks as well as its performance.
However, the Land Transportation Office is prohibiting excessive modifications to motorcycles to ensure the safety of both motorists and pedestrians along the road.
On Tuesday (February 9, 2021), the Facebook page “Ronda Brigada” reported that the authorities have inspected the motor shops and modified motorcycles in Brgy. Labangal, General Santos City.
In the photos, it can be seen that the police authorities together with some officials have confiscated some modified motorcycles in the area for committing violations with the guidelines given by the Land Transportation Office.

According to the authorities, the police station received a report that some motorists in the village are conducting a drag race.
