FB Page Calls Out HPG & LTO Attention Over Inappropriate Ruling w/ Motorcycles
A certain Facebook page called the attention of HPG and LTO over alleged discrimination of motorcycles in the Philippines.
Nowadays, the Highway Patrol Group and the Land Transportation Office are implementing stricter traffic rules and regulations along the road. The authorities aims to reduce the increase rate of road accidents.
The authorities also prohibit illegal modifications of motorcycle such as using open muffler, loud horns, and blinding lights. However, several riders are opposing some of the traffic policy calling it as discrimination.

The Facebook page “Pinoy Motorider” has called the attention of HPG and LTO over massive restrictions against motorcycles. The page defended the intention of modifying their motorcycles.
The page claims that motorists are using open muffler to notify other drivers along the road. Loud horns were installed so both pedestrians and motorists could notice their distance even from a distance.
The post also explained that riders are replacing their lights to make their path more visible at night.
