Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Now Endorsing Recommendation of Declaring Ez Mil as ‘Persona Non-Grata’

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan endorses the recommendation to declare the popular rapper Ez Mil as ‘Persona Non-Grata’.

The Filipino-Caucasian rapper Ezekiel Miller or popularly known  as Ez Mil becomes one of the most popular personalities in the country after performing his song “Panalo” on the Wish USA bus.

The rapper’s Wish performance video earned over 27 million views within a week after it has been uploaded on YouTube. Initially, the Pinoy rap artist earned praises and admiration from the online community.

The song “Panalo” talks about patriotism and a lot of topic regarding the Philippine culture, tradition, and history. The artist is emphasizing that he is a proud Filipino although he had a Caucasian blood.

Unfortunately, there are some Filipino people who criticized Ezekiel because of the lyrics of his latest single stating “pinugutan si Lapu-Lapu sa Mactan”. He also apologized because of the controversial line but does not have a plan to change the line.

“I do not intend to have a corrected version to keep the integrity of the record. It did make people talk and I’ll keep it that way,” Miller said.

Recently, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan said that he would endorse to the city council declaring Ezekiel Miller ‘Persona Non-Grata’ in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The mayor’s statement garnered various reactions from the netizens.
