NBI Gives Update on Christine Dacera Case Investigation
CHRISTINE DACERA CASE – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) will invite the embalmer of the body of flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera.
The death of Christine Angelica Dacera has sparked national concern. There are two (2) sides – those who are calling for justice for her death believing that a crime took place and those who believe that the respondents are innocent.
The medico-legal report of the Philippine National Police (PNP) determined ruptured aortic aneurysm as the cause of Dacera’s death. It was also the findings in the previous autopsy conducted on her body.
As for the family of Christine Dacera, they do not believe that it was a natural death. They stressed the bruises on the body of the 23-year-old flight attendant.

Aside from the Philippine National Police (PNP) investigation on the Christine Dacera case, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) also lodged its own probe over the flight attendant’s death.
The NBI has yet to submit its report. Meanwhile, based on a report on the Philippine Star, they are already “winding up” the investigation but they will invite the embalmer of the body of the flight attendant.
Speaking in a briefing of Laging Handa, Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Menardo Guevarra expressed that the NBI is done with its forensic examination and the toxicology report is ready. Based on the report, they are still “looking for some mobile phones” that will be under forensic examination.
