One Individual Injured In Landslide In Zamboanga City
ZAMBOANGA CITY – An individual recently sustained injuries in a landslide in Barangay Pasonanca, Zamboanga City on Friday morning.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the casualty, identified as a teenager, was hit by small rocks during the said landslide.
The teenager was sleeping when the landslide struck and damaged their house in the said village.
A certain Jean Callorina Pilanga took photos showing the aftermath of the landslide, which struck Cluster 4, Shanty Town, Luyahan in Barangay Pasonanca.
Based on the report, village officials are still assessing the number of houses that were affected by the landslide, which was triggered by heavy rains.
It has been recalled in PAGASA”s forecast that the rest of the country unaffected by the Tail-end of Frontal System and Amihan, including Mindanao, are facing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Furthermore, Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
