LENI ROBREDO – The supporters of VP Leni Roberedo started an online petition urging her to run for president in May 2022 polls.

Vice President Leni Robredo is the widow of late Interior Sec. Jesse Robredo. She is also the leader of the country’s Liberal Party (LP)

In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic and typhoons that hit the country, she has left an exceptional effort to reach out and help her countrymen. Until now, the OVP continues its programs to help the poor Filipinos.

Leni Robredo has been long-touted to be the standard-bearer of LP in the next elections. In her previous interviews, she said she thinks it’s not the right time to share her plans because they are all busy helping the people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Ang presidential election is far away. Dalawang taon pa. And history would tell us ang daming puwedeng mangyari sa isang taon. Hindi nga natin alam kung kakandidato pa ako.” she said.
