Boracay Hotels Are Now Required to Establish Quarantine Facility on Their Own
Aklan local government announce that all the hotels in Boracay Island are required to establish their own quarantine facility.
Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores instructed all hotels in the Boracay island resort to have their own quarantine facilities for their guests and employees.
Based on the report of GMA News, the move to build own facility was ordered after three tourists who entered the island tested positive for COVID-19 using fake RT PCR test results.

The Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) are currently working with the local government of the Malay government on how to solve the problem of the entry of tourists who fake the results of the RT PCR test.
The DOH stated that it has posted on their website where legitimate clinics can be found to get the RT PRC test. The DOT also called on tourists to avoid using fake test results.
Meanwhile, a passenger arrived in arrived at Francisco Bangoy International Airport, Davao City found positive with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) after he presents a fake RT-PCR test result. Authorities immediately discovered that the negative result of the passenger was falsified.
