PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 2, 2021 (Tuesday).
The latest update from the state weather bureau says that the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan continues to affect the country on this day.
According to the bureau’s official website, the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Surigao del Norte and Dinagat. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur, especially during moderate with at times heavy rains.
Amihan will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over the rest of Visayas, rest of Caraga, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, and the provinces of Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be faced by Metro Manila and the rest of the country also due to the northeast monsoon.
Based on the update, for the wind and coastal water condition forecast, Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
