Armed Robbers Ransacked Express Forwarder Office and Took Vault Containing P2 million

Several armed robbers take the vault containing P2 million from an express forwarder office in Legazpi City.

Nowadays, robbery has been one of the most common crimes happening in various regions across the globe including the Philippines. Most suspects have no choice but to engage in illegal activities just to earn a huge amount of cash in an instant.

The government has advised the public to be more aware and take precautionary measures to avoid being a victim of robbery. Business owners were also instructed to secure their establishments.

On Monday morning (February 1, 2021), the Bicol police spokesperson Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib reported that at least five armed robbers ransacked an express forwarder office along Barangay Cruzada.

The security guard identified as Sonny Sacueza has been found tied, blindfolded, and his mouth covered with duct tape at the guardhouse, according to the company’s delivery employee named Guilbert Belo.

The guard on duty narrated that the robbers are wearing bonnets while conducting their illegal activity. The suspects tied him before taking the cash vault from the warehouse and even took his caliber .38 service firearm and mobile phone.

The police authorities are still conducting investigation to determine the identities of the unidentified armed men who took the vault containing P2 million cash.
