Jessy Mendiola talked about the proposal of Luis Manzano
Fit For Life host Jessy Mendiola revealed this happened during the marriage proposal of her now-fiance actor-host Luis Manzano.
After four years of being together, Luis finally proposed to Jessy and this made the showbiz industry celebrate. Although there was an issue that surfaced about the engagement ring, this did not destroy the excitement that the celebrity couple is feeling right now.
Several of their friends in the entertainment industry also expressed happiness for the next chapter in their lives. Talking to ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, Jessy revealed the details of the proposal.
She said that it happened on the first week of October and they did not plan about it. Jessy Mendiola is happy that even though people who they don’t personally know are congratulating them.
She is also glad that they were able to keep this a secret at first before the day that they intended to announce it to the public. “Ang sarap din kasi na it was between us lang, pero ang sarap din na the whole world is happy for us, so it’s a mix of feelings,” the actress said.
Jessy added that she will never forget the proposal because she got her dream engagement ring. Then, she revealed what happened when Luis already got on his knees and popped the question.
“The moment na luluhod na siya tapos titingnan ka na niya sa mata, tapos sasabihin niya ‘yung mga bagay na ipinapangako niya sa ‘yo and when he finally asks you that question na, ‘Will you marry me?’ Hindi ka na makakasalita, I was so shocked,” she shared.
When the ring was already on her finger, she said that Luis is really the one and everything that they went through led to that memorable moment.
