Robredo, Staff, Self Quarantines As Part Of Health Protocols
ROBREDO SELF QUARANTINES – Vice President Leni Robredo is currently undergoing self-isolation as a precaution versus the new coronavirus.
It seems like Robredo is strictly following the Office of the Vice President’s health protocols for those who traveled outside Metro Manila. According to Robredo, she and her staff would undergo self-isolation until they get tested again for COVID-19.
On her official Facebook, Robredo said:
Signing documents and letters at home while on quarantine for a few days before I undergo my nth RT PCR test. This is part of our health protocols at the OVP after my Laguna-Quezon-Bicol trip
Her work as a politician meant Robredo was constantly moving from town to town. As such, precautions were needed to ensure she doesn’t contract or spread the virus. “I can only rejoin the others after I receive my negative swab results. The same goes with all the other members of our staff“, she added.
According to an article from Manila Bulletin, the Vice President visited Camarines Sur to visit the community learning hubs. Furthermore, she personally went to check on the OVP’s poverty alleviation projects.
However, despite being under quarantine, Robredo said she’s taking advantage of the time to catch-up on readings and do online meetings.
