Petroleum Products Price Rollback To Take Effect On January 26, 2021

PETROLEUM PRODUCTS – Oil firms have said that there will be a price change on the price of petroleum products to take effect on Tuesday.

According to a report from GMA News, oil firms said that there will be a price rollback this week after three consecutive weeks of hikes.

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. and Seaoil Philippines Inc. said in separate advisories that they will reduce prices of gasoline by P0.15 per liter, P0.10 per liter for the price of diesel and P0.10 per liter for the price of kerosene.

Cleanfuel and Petro Gazz also said that they will implement the same changes, except for kerosene which they do not carry.

The rollback will take effect at about 6 AM on Tuesday in January 26 for all oil firms, except Cleanfuel , which will adjust the prices at about 8:01 AM on the same day.

Latest data from the Department of Energy (DOE) shows that the year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P2.30 per liter for gasoline, P1.65 per liter for diesel, and P1.60 per liter for kerosene, based on the report
