Dacera was with her friends at the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City last December 31, 2020 to celebrate the New Year together. They occupied Room 2209 of the said Makati hotel.
According to her companions, one of their friends introduced them to some people staying in Room 2207. They played a parlor game and reportedly went back to their own room.
The friends of Dacera admitted that they had hard drinks during the night. The following morning, the 23-year-old flight attendant was found dead in a bathtub of the room.
