Update on Christine Dacera Case: Jake Esteron Makes Clarification
CHRISTINE DACERA CASE – Jake Esteron, one of the occupants of Room 2207, makes clarification on reports he’ll be the star witness.
The death of flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera has taken social media platforms by storm. Many are eager to know whether or not there was a foul play on the death of the 23-year-old F.A. of the Philippine Airlines (PAL).
On New Year’s eve, Dacera was at City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City together with some friends. Some of them have families that are living in another city thus they decided to welcome the new year together and they stayed in Room 2209.
According to her companions, they were also introduced by one of their friends to some people staying in another room, 2207, in the hotel. They had hard drinks and parlor games.
However, according to Dacera’s friend Rommel Galido, he found her unconscious in the bathtub of the room the following morning. She was rushed to Makati Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.

Investigations over the Christine Dacera case are currently ongoing. The people staying in Room 2207 were also called by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in line with the probe. The 13th occupant of the hotel who appeared before the NBI was aspiring model and actor Jake Esteron.
Previously, there were reports that Jake Esteron would serve as the star witness in the Christine Dacera case. The aspiring model-actor recently broke his silence.
Based on a report on PTV’s Ulat Bayan, Jake clarified that he will not stand as the star witness of the case. He stressed that he’s just cooperating with the NBI regarding the case.
With regards to his participation in the case, the aspiring model-actor said that he just came to the party and he was not part of the organizers. Based on the report, he claimed that he even left erly.
“5 a.m., wala na ako, umuwi na ako… No, hindi ko siya kilala (Christine Dacera), dun lang po,” he said based on the report.
