The P25 million road construction in Cabuyao, Laguna goes viral on social media and earned various reactions from the online community.
On Facebook, Bulabugin ni Jerry Yap page shared a road construction with a little sand, a little cement in Cabuyao road in San Isidro, Banaybanay, Niugan, and Pulo. The road was built by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The photos of the road construction drew flak online. Netizens asked how long will it take if only sand and cement are poured? When it rains heavily, water gradually drains the poured sand and cement that could lead motorists to have accidents.

The Laguna netizens also criticized the photo of those in power called “Kalinga Boys.” Laguna tax payers air dismay as they feel they are being tricked by corrupt officials.
Based on a letter from BAC Chairperson Yolanda T. Aquino to Cabuyao city mayor Rommel Gecolea, the project worth P25 million is Rehabilitation of NIA Road Phase 2 (San Isidro – Banaybanay – Pulo – Niugan section).
The project is under the management of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Laguna II, District Engineering Office, Regional Office IV-A, Barangay Bambang, Los Baños, Laguna.
