Mika Dela Cruz Explains Why She Prefers Not To Work W/ BF Nash Aguas
MIKA DELA CRUZ – Kapuso actress Mika Dela Cruz explained why she prefers not to work with her boyfriend Nash Aguas.
Kapamilya actor Nash Aguas is now in a relationship with his childhood crush Mika Dela Cruz. They were part of the kids’ gag show ‘Goin Bulilit.’
Nash and Mika belonged to the batch 7 graduates in 2011 alongside Sharlene San Pedro, Noemi Oineza, and Aaliyah Benisano. They celebrated their second anniversary last October.
Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz worked together for the first time as a couple for a cosmetic and skincare product ‘Pretty Secret.’ The Kapuso actress shared what it’s like to work with her beau for the first time as a couple.
The celebrity couple admitted that they had mixed feelings before accepting the project. The 22-year-old actress also explained why she prefers not to work with him.

Mika Dela Cruz said she found the idea of working with Nash Aguas “weird.” She said “Sobrang nakakatuwa, sobrang naninibago kami ni Nash. Kasi ito ‘yung first time na nagkatrabaho kami for an endorsement na parang as kami. So sobrang weird kasi hindi naman kami mga showbiz na tao.”
“Tsaka hindi namin actually ginusto noong una na magkatrabaho kasi parang alam mo ‘yun, parang ayaw namin to be together para lang sa love team,” she added.
Mika Dela Cruz shared that both of them agreed not to mix up their personal lives with their love life. “So, ayun ginawa naming rule ‘yun na ayaw naming simulan na maging ganu’n ‘yung setup namin, ‘di ba? Para kung ano lang talaga kami, hindi mahaluan ng work at hindi mahaluan ng showbiz,” she said.
The young actress also shared her experience working with the Aguas during the entire shoot. She said, “Ayun nag-enjoy ako. Noong una sobrang kabado kami ni Nash. Si Nash hindi na makapag-concentrate sa pag-gigitara niya pero nairaos dahil okay ‘yung set namin. Everyone was so kind. Everyone was so warm. Ayun, nag-warm-up naman si Nash tapos maya-maya hindi na din siya kinakabahan.”
