Here’s truth about Sunshine Dizon rushed to hospital after doing an intimate scene with this actor.
SUNSHINE DIZON – Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon reveals truth about her regarding doing intense intimate scenes with fellow actors.
As artists, they are bound to do what is asked of them based on the story line and the script. However, as persons as well, they also have these limitations and boundaries as they do their draft. And one of them is Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon.
Although she refused zero projects with intimate scenes, she felt lucky that her directors were respectful when it comes to her conditions in doing such. However, she recalled this one scene she did with Cogie Domingo and right after that, she was hospitalized.
It happened in 2002 for the drama series Kung Mawawala Ka where she portrayed the lead character with Domingo. It was directed by Joel Lamangan.
The scene required her to kiss the actor on the lips. The script should come out that Cogie was kissing Iza Calzado but in his eyes, he is kissing Sunshine. And what they have to do is the same intimate scene as Iza and Cogie have done.
Based on a report from PEP, she admitted, “So, I was telling Cogs, ‘Cogs, baka puwede namang dayain na lang natin. Tulungan mo naman ako kasi ninenerbiyos na talaga ako.'”
She was sweating even before doing it and the first take was a fail. It didn’t pass on the standard of Direk Joel and it went the same on the second take where the director got furious. Dedicated despite fear, they were able to pull it off on their third try.
And after she left the set, she remembered that she started not feeling well because the tension after doing that articular never left her. She hyperventilated, her vision dimmed, and she vomited. She then added, “They had to rush me to the hospital kasi di na maganda iyong hinga ko ‘tapos pa-blackout na ako. So, when we got to the E.R., ang sabi ng doctor, nag-hyperventilate daw ako siguro sa sobrang nerbiyos.”
