Here’s the point of view of Daniel Padilla regarding the COVID-19 vaccine
Actor Daniel Padilla was asked to react to the COVID-19 vaccine brands issue as several celebrities have already expressed their stand on this.
Showbiz personalities reacted to the statement of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque that Filipinos should not be “choosy” when it comes to the brand of COVID-19 vaccine that will be made available in the country.
This did not sit well with It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda. He insisted on the right of everyone to choose in whatever aspect of life. For Eat Bulaga host Joey de Leon, some Filipinos perceive the vaccine brands like choosing between luxury brands. The Henyo Master stressed that as long as it is approved by the Food and Drug Administration, it is good to go.
In line with this issue, during a recent virtual conference for the finale if the KathNiel movie series The House Arrest of Us, Daniel Padilla was also asked to react. Based on the article from Bandera, the actor played safe on this issue.
“It’s a good question pero masyado pang mainit at baka mapaso tayo. So, maghihintay pa tayo ng mga detayle about sa vaccine,” the boyfriend of Kathryn Bernardo said.
For him, it is better to have an opinion about this when the matter is already finalized.
“Dahil hanggang ngayon naman ay hindi pa napa-finalize kung ano ang mangyayari. So huwag muna tayong magsalita ng hindi pa finalize ang mga bagay at baka mapaso tayo sa niluluto natin,” the smiling Daniel Padilla said.
