The basketball player in Room 2207 tagged as a “person of interest in the Christine Dacera Case was identified as Justin Rieta and here are a few details about him.
Christine and her friends occupied Room 2209 of the City Grand Hotel. However, based on the CCTV footage, she was seen coming in and out of Room 2207 on December 31, 2020, a day before her death.
In a previous interview, one of the respondents in the case, Valentine Rosales, apparently, presumed that those in the other room near them were also gays.

Just recently, as one of the persons of interest in the Christine Dacera Case, Justin Rieta, along with 11 of his friends who occupied Room 2207 on New Year’s Eve to give their statement. The basketball player said in an initial interview that he does not know anyone from Room 2209.
His identity has arose curiosity in the online community. With this, these are the few things about Justin Rieta.
Based on the article from spin.ph, he is a regular in recreational leagues in Manila. Before enrolling at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, he tried out in the National University Buldogs lineup.
One of the most recent basketball stints he did was with CAL Autoworks. He was a key player in leading his team to get the RE League title in the Quezon City Basketball League (QCBL) back in 2019.
Spin.ph was able to reach out to one of the closest peers of Justin Rieta, who has been tagged as a “person of interest” in the Christine Dacera Case.
“Mabait na tao yan. Hindi dahil sa kilala ko siya, pero walang angal yan sa court. Legit na ball is life yan. Sa isang araw, lalo na kapag mga Sundays, apat o limang laro ang pinupuntahan at lalaruan niya,” a friend of basketball player said.
