Pokwang, Husband Lee O’Brien Victimized by Online Dating Syndicate
TV host-comedienne Pokwang slammed a netizen who victimized her and husband using their name to deceive innocent people on Facebook.
Pokey revealed the modus operandi of a Facebook user for promoting a dating site using her name and her partner Lee O’Brien. The comedienne has shared a snippet of said post.
According to the netizen’s post where the Facebook group “Filipino Women looking for Foreign Husband” was tagged, Pokwang allegedly met Lee and the father of his daughter Malia on the said website.
The suspect added in her Facebook post that the said site is very safe for all Filipinos who want to marry a foreigner such as Korean, American, and European. When the said modus on social media reached Pokwang, she immediately posted a netizen’s post on her Instagram.
She denied that they had anything to do with the aforementioned website. According to the comedienne, they have no connection and they do not promote the said website because they did not meet through online dating.
“Hindi ko po sia friend at hindi po kami sa dating site nagkakilala ni papang @leeobrian,” Pokwang stressed on her post.
She clarified, “Sa movie po kami nagkakilala ang Edsa Woolworth na produced ng TFC at directed by @johndlazatin.”
Pokey is referring to TFC’s movie “Edsa Woolworth” which was released in 2014. Lee and Pokwang developed a love until they got together and were blessed with a very cute child.
She warned the social media syndicates to stop harassing innocent people, “Scammers !!!! wag ganon !!!! ” She also called on the National Bureau of Investigation or NBI to find and punish the said netizen.
