PAGASA – Tail-end Of Frontal System, ITCZ, And Amihan To Affect PH This January 11, 2021

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day January 11, 2021 (Monday).

The daily weather forecast from the state weather bureau says that the tail-end of a frontal system will affect the eastern section of Visayas.

The website from the bureau added that Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Mindanao, while the Northeast Monsoon will affect Luzon.

The Tail end of Frontal System and the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Visayas and Mindanao. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Based on the website, for the forecast wind and coastal water condition, Luzon, Visayas, and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast to north direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
