Is it true that Yassi Pressman will no longer be part of Ang Probinsyano?
ABS-CBN was asked to react to the alleged exit of Yassi Pressman from Coco Martin’s series Ang Probinsyano.
Last December, reports surfaced that Yassi is set to leave the long-running Kapamilya action-drama series. It was also said that she will be replaced by Darna actress Jane de Leon.
Chinita Princess Kim Chiu even mentioned that Jane will be the “new leading lady” of Coco’s character, Cardo Dalisay. However, based n the article from The Philippine Star, entertainment columnist Jun Lalin said that it is still unsure if how long will Jane will be part of the series.
It is because she is set to shoot for her Darna project that is now set to be a series and not a movie. On the other hand, Lalin expressed that Yassi Pressman will no longer return for the lock-in taping on January 10.
In line with the alleged exit of the actress who plays Alyanna in the series, Philstar’s Jan Milo Severo reached out to ABS-CBN, as well as to Dreamscape, the content provider subsidiary.
The network was asked if it is true that Jane De Leon will be the replacement of Yassi Pressman. However, there was no reply from the other end.
Yassi has become part of Ang Probinsyano in 2016. From that, her character blossomed and viewers have grown to love her. Many viewers also like her tandem with Coco and fans are even shipping the CocoYass love team.
