Ang Probinsyano Actress Yassi Pressman Speaks on Taping Amid COVID-19 Pandemic
ANG PROBINSYANO – Kapamilya actress Yassi Pressman revealed that the safety protocols in the FPJAP set were heightened.
One of the longest-airing television programs under the Kapamilya network is the FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. This action-drama TV series top-billed by Coco Martin started in 2015 and continues to air now.
The FPJAP airing was temporarily halted when the ABS-CBN Network shut down its broadcast operation following the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) releasing a Cease and Desist Order against the network.
Thirteen hearings were held in the House of Representatives to discuss the issues involving the Kapamilya network in the light of its franchise. After it, a voting on whether or not to deny it of a fresh 25-year franchise took place.
However, only 11 people voted on the side favoring ABS-CBN. 70 lawmakers voted to deny the network of a fresh franchise. Currently, some of the Kapamilya programs are airing through the Kapamilya Channel and the Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube.
The FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is one of the ABS-CBN programs that continue to air. The cast had a lock-in taping and one of those who are back to work now is actress Yassi Pressman.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Yassi revealed that the safety protocols in FPJAP are heightened now amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They have a lot of marshals that are tasked to ensure that only the staff, crew, and the artists are in the taping area.
“We feel very safe na po sa pagbabalik. I feel very blessed and still very, very thankful and grateful na may trabaho pa rin po kami despite the situation,” the actress said.
Based on the report, Yassi stressed that the reason why they love ABS-CBN is that the network really makes sure they are safe while they are having the opportunity to serve the Filipino viewers.
The FPJAP airs on Kapamilya Channel from Monday to Friday. You may also watch in YouTube through the Kapamilya Online Live.
