The Honor Play 9A was officially announced on March 30, 2020. The smartphone comes with a 6.30” touchscreen display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution.

The dimension of the device is 159.1 x 74.1 x 9mm and weighs 185 grams. It is built with a glass front, plastic back, and a plastic frame. Play 9A is a dual-SIM device that accepts Nano-Sim and Nano-SIM cards.

Honor Play 9A is powered by the MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 octa-core processor and runs on Android 10.0 (AOSP + HMS) + Magic UI 3.0 OS. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The rear camera of the Honor Play 9A consists of a dual-camera 13-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (depth). On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel camera for selfies.

The device is fueled by a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + battery charging 10W. Play 9A was launched in Dark Night Black, Jasper Green, and Blue Water Emerald colors.

Sensors on the device include proximity, accelerometer, and fingerprint (rear-mounted). It also features WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, FM Radio, and USB OTG.
