9 Policemen Involved In Sulu 4 Philippine Army Intel Slay Got Dismissed

The 9 policemen who were involved in the shooting of four army intelligence officers in Jolo, Sulu in June last year were dismissed.

Last year, on June 29, four Philippine Army Intelligence were killed in Jolo Sulu while inside SUV. According to the previous article, the military men were tracking suspects involved in the Sulu bombing when the shooting incident happened.

Policemen in Sulu Dismissed

The soldiers were flagged down by cops in Barangay Walled City. They present themselves as members of the military, however, they were instructed to go to police station for verification.

According to the police report, the shooting incident happened when the soldiers allegedly escaped and pointed their weapons at the police officers. It allegedly started the police to fire at the soldiers.

The nine police officers involved in the shootout were Police Senior Master Sergeant Abdelzhimar H Padjiri Police Master Sergeant Hanie U. Baddiri, Police Staff Sergeant Iskandar I. Susulan, and Police Staff Sergeant Ernisar P. Sappal.

Policemen in Sulu Dismissed

This includes Police Corporal Sulki M. Andaki, Patrolman Mohammad Nur E. Pasani, Police Staff Sergeant Almudzrin M. Hadjaruddin, Patrolman Alkajal J. Mandangan, and Patrolman Rajiv G. Putalan.

The National Bureau of Investigation filed complaints about four counts of murder and planting of evidence. And now, former policemen have been removed from the custody of the Philippine National Police pending a warrant of arrest from the court.

Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Debold Sinas that the PNP no longer has jurisdiction over former police officers so it was released. He asked the Department of Justice to expedite the process in the case of nine former policemen.
