3 PNPA Cadets Tagged for Beating Classmate on New Year’s Day Face Admin Raps
3 Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) cadets will be facing administrative charges for mauling classmate on New Year’s day.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Debold Sinas has ordered the filing of administrative charges against three cadets of the PNPA who were tagged for mauling their classmate on New Year’s day
Sinas has ordered the PNP Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development to place the three cadets under “restriction,” based on the report of ABS-CBN. The PNP Public Information Office said that restriction is on effect while termination and dismissal proceedings continue.

The beaten cadet was Cadet 1st Class Joab Mar Nacnas. Based on the initial investigation, Nacnas was beaten up at the roof deck of the school premises at Camp Castañeda in Silang, Cavite.
Nacnas is believed to have reprimanded a senior cadet and two others after being caught having a drinking session in the area. The call-out turned into an altercation, which led to mauling.
Those involved in the beating were taken to the Silang Municipal Police Station for investigation. Meanwhile, the victim is recovering from injuries, including severe facial injuries, based on a photo sent by the PNP.
