PAGASA – TECF To Bring Scattered Rains Over PH This December 31, 2020
PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day December 31, 2020 (Thursday).
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Tail-End of the Frontal System will be affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon while the northeast monsoon or amihan will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon.
According to GMA News, the Tail-end of Frontal System will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Visayas. Flash floods and landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.
Amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains due to northeast monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan. Flash floods and landslides may occur during moderate to heavy rains.
Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Luzon will have strong winds that are moving northeast while facing rough coastal waters.
The eastern and western sections of Visayas and eastern section of Mindanao will have moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
