New Born Baby was Discovered by a Stray Dog in a Dump Site in Cebu City
A day-old baby was discovered and luckily saved by a stray dog lying helpless in a dumpsite in the town of Sibonga in Cebu.
With the help of a dog, a newborn baby was discovered in a garbage dump site helplessly. According to the Sibonga Police station, the baby boy was found by a motorcycle rider passing by Brgy. Magcagong before noon on Thursday, Christmas Eve.
The rider Junrell Revilla said a black dog brought him there as he follows him to the garbage dumpsite. There Revilla saw the baby wrapped in a brown towel, while next to it was a black plastic bag containing his placenta.

According to police, the baby’s umbilical cord was still connected to its body. Revilla took the baby to Deiparine Community Hospital for immediate medical attention.
He is now being cared for by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office. Police are trying to find the baby’s parents.
Meanwhile, netizens praise the clever dog for finding a way to save the baby. Netizens also thanked the rider for help. Others condemn the ungrateful and irresponsible parents for abandoning their child like garbage.
