Kris Aquino is set to give cash to 100 people
Queen of all Media Kris Aquino announced that she will be giving cash giveaways to 100 people to celebrate the birthday of her mother, Cory Aquino.
It is known to many that Kris was very close to the late president. She would always share the traits of her mother that made her felt loved. In the recent Instagram post of the social media influencer, she once again highlighted the life of her mother and she has done this through giving back to the less fortunate.
Kris shared a lesson that Cory shared in the past. “My mom by her example taught me: kung mag-isa ka lang na aangat, mas madali kang babagsak kasi wala kang natulungan para patibayin ka o saluhin ka sa oras na ikaw naman ang nangailangan,” the actress-host said.
Kris Aquino stressed that she is fortunate enough to provide the wishes of her sons and so she intends to fulfill the wish of other people, especially those who were retrenched employees.
“Nagpa compute po ako, ang weekly minimum wage is P2685… it’s my wish to give people hope that they still have a chance to find a new job, a new opportunity…” she shared.
Then, Kris announced that on January 3, she will announce the 50 winner who will chosen from her Instagram and Facebook followers to receive the P2685 from her.
This will happen again on January 25, to celebrate the birthday of Cory Aquino. Another 50 individuals will receive the said amount.
“It’s my way of expressing my love for all of you, my followers, and my feeling of being responsible to do what i can para tulungan ang 🇵🇭 na makabangon. LABAN NATIN ‘to… at maaasahan nyo ko,” she said.
Kris Aquino also encouraged the public to have a “healthier, kinder, and more compassionate 2021.”
