Why Jericho Rosales was emotional while he was in a mall?
Actor Jericho Rosales got emotional upon seeing this situation in a mall as what he recently shared on his Instagram account.
In this time of the year, malls and shopping centers get extra crowded. However due to the pandemic, the usual routine of most people during the holidays is not being observed this year.
Jericho shared that he went just recently in a mall for a film-related meeting. He decided to roam around and when he reached the cinema, he got emotional.
The actor showed that there was no one in that part of the mall which is unusual this time of the year because of the Metro Manila Film Festival. Every December, new films are being released in cinemas for the film fest and it is being supported by many Pinoys.
However, the situation this year is very different as even the yearly film fest went virtual. With this, Jericho Rosales said that the scenario in cinemas now breaks his heart.
“I miss cinemas so much,” he said in his video. Then, he reminded the public to stay safe this holiday season.
“Please stay safe for your families, loved ones, friends, for yourself and your chosen industries. Happy holidays folks,” the actor wrote in the caption of his post.
Several netizens who commented on the post of the actor expressed that they also feel the same as they miss watching movies in cinemas.
Meanwhile, Jericho Rosales and his wife Kim Jones caught the attention of the online community amid Typhoon Ulysses last month. It is because they helped in rescuing stranded individuals using their surfboards.
